Getting there
Rua do Bom Jesus is in the centre of Funchal, a few minutes on foot from the old town and the main shopping streets. Arriving by cruise ship, it is roughly a twenty-minute walk along the seafront. By bus, any city-centre stop works. By car, parking is in the public car parks downtown — the street itself has limited spaces, so allow a few extra minutes on arrival.
