How booking works.

1. You send the idea

On WhatsApp, to +351 925 787 219. Say what you have in mind, the placement, a rough size and the dates you are around. Visual references help a lot — even loose photos of things you like. If it is your first tattoo, say so straight away: it changes how Hugo walks you through each step.

2. You get the estimate

A reply within 12 hours. Hugo tells you whether the idea works as it is, what he would adjust and how long it takes. The figure is always agreed before the session, based on size, detail and placement — never a surprise at the end.

3. The design is prepared

Once the date is set, Hugo draws the piece from scratch. You see the design before the session and there is room to change it — that is what this stage is for. Big concept changes asked for at the last minute may mean rescheduling; size, placement and detail are adjusted on the day, with the stencil on your skin.

4. The session

At Rua do Bom Jesus, 10, Funchal, in central Funchal. Unhurried, with breaks whenever you need them. Sterile single-use materials, certified inks. Eat beforehand, bring water and wear clothing that gives easy access to the area. Companions are welcome, but the space is shared — let Hugo know in advance how many people are coming with you. 5. Supported healing

You leave with instructions for the first days and Hugo stays available while it heals — if something looks off to you, send a photo. The full guide is in aftercare, including what to do about Madeira's sun and sea.

Rescheduling and cancellations

Life happens. Give as much notice as you can and it gets rescheduled without fuss. What costs is silence: a booked session that goes empty without warning is time that could not be given to someone else. If you are travelling and your dates shift, say so — Hugo is used to working around travel plans.

Payment

The figure is agreed beforehand and settled at the end of the session. Arrange the method with Hugo in the initial conversation.
